Crabcakes

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.

  3. 3

    Cook Crabcakes

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crabcakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Prepare Salad

While the crabcakes are cooking, prepare a mixed green salad with your choice of greens and a light vinaigrette.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the crabcakes warm with lemon aioli and the mixed green salad on the side.
