Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Grill the Patties

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, tomato slices, onion rings, the cooked patty with melted cheese, and crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
