Ginger Turmeric Kombucha (Functional Drink)

Method

Ginger Turmeric Kombucha (Functional Drink)

1

Grate the fresh ginger and turmeric finely. If using ground turmeric, measure and set aside.

2

In a small bowl, combine grated ginger, grated turmeric (or ground), lemon juice, honey (or maple syrup), and a pinch of black pepper. Stir to make a quick concentrate and dissolve the sweetener.

3

Pour 2 cups of chilled unflavored raw kombucha into a pitcher or large glass. Add the ginger-turmeric concentrate and stir gently to combine.

4

Add ice cubes, taste, and adjust sweetness or lemon as desired. Garnish with mint leaves if using and serve immediately.

Superfood Green Smoothie (Functional Drink)

5

Place the almond milk in the blender first (this helps blending).

6

Add frozen banana, frozen pineapple, fresh spinach, avocado, hemp seeds, spirulina powder, lemon juice and ground flaxseed (if using) to the blender.

7

Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides once if needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of extra almond milk and re-blend to reach desired consistency.

8

Taste and adjust: add a small drizzle of maple syrup if you prefer sweeter, or a splash more lemon for brightness. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Turkey & Avocado Fresh Wrap (Healthy Bite)

9

In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, sprouted grain mustard, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper to make a light spread.

10

Lay the whole-grain tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Spread the yogurt-mustard mixture evenly over the center of the tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.

11

Layer the baby spinach, sliced turkey, shredded carrot, cucumber slices, and avocado slices on top of the spread. Arrange ingredients slightly off-center toward one edge to make rolling easier.

12

Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then tightly roll from the edge with the filling to form a secure wrap. Slice in half on the bias and serve immediately, or wrap tightly in parchment for take-away.

Superfood Energy Bites (Healthy Bite / Snack)

13

In a medium bowl, stir together the rolled oats, chia seeds, cacao nibs, shredded coconut (if using), and sea salt.

14

Add the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly with a spatula until evenly combined. If the mixture is too dry to hold together, add 1 teaspoon of warm water or additional nut butter and mix again.

15

Using clean hands or a small cookie scoop, press and roll the mixture into 12 equal bite-sized balls (about 1 inch / 24–28 g each).

16

Place the formed bites on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for longer storage.
