Vodkas (bottles / 750 ml equivalents)
Optional mixers & garnishes (per serving)
Method
Bottles preparation
Inspect and chill
Inspect each bottle for damage and confirm labels (flavored vs. plain/potato). Chill bottles upright in a refrigerator or ice bath for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure they are cold.
Tag and organize
Label or organize bottles behind the bar (or on the shelf) in groups: citrus-flavored (Absolut Citron, Deep Eddy Lemon), fruit-flavored (Absolut Mandarin, Absolut Ruby Red, Deep Eddy Peach, Deep Eddy Ruby Red) and specialty (Chopin potato vodka, Deep Eddy Sweet Tea). This makes selection quick when mixing individual cocktails or pours.
Serving single drinks (standard 1.5 oz pour)
Simple chilled neat or on the rocks
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Pour 1.5 fl oz (44 ml) of the chosen vodka (e.g., Chopin for a clean potato profile or Absolut Citron for lemony notes). Optionally garnish with a lemon or grapefruit wedge. Serve immediately.
Vodka soda
Fill a highball glass with ice (about 1 cup). Add 1.5 fl oz (44 ml) vodka of choice (Deep Eddy Ruby Red for grapefruit-forward, Deep Eddy Sweet Tea for an autumn twist). Top with 2–3 oz (60–90 ml) club soda. Gently stir once to combine. Garnish with a citrus wedge corresponding to the vodka flavor (lemon for Citron/Lemon, grapefruit for Ruby Red).
Flavored vodka spritz (light)
In a wine glass or highball filled with ice, add 1.5 fl oz (44 ml) flavored vodka (Absolut Mandarin or Deep Eddy Peach). Top with 1–2 oz (30–60 ml) sparkling water and an additional 1 oz (30 ml) fresh-squeezed citrus juice if desired (grapefruit for Ruby Red vodkas, lemon for Citron). Stir gently and garnish with a fruit wedge or a sprig of mint.
Batching / party service (approximate 1.5 oz servings per bottle)
Yield calculation
Each 750 ml bottle yields roughly 16 standard 1.5 oz (44 ml) servings. Use that to plan quantities for a crowd. Example: one bottle = ~16 drinks.
Simple mixed punch (citrus / ruby red blend)
In a 3–4 liter beverage dispenser, combine 3 bottles total (choose proportions to taste; e.g., 1 bottle Absolut Ruby Red, 1 bottle Deep Eddy Ruby Red, 1 bottle Deep Eddy Lemon) for fruit-forward citrus base. Add 1.5–2 liters of grapefruit or lemon soda (or club soda + 300–500 ml fresh juice) and 1–1.5 liters chilled water or iced tea to taste. Stir gently and add plenty of ice in a separate bin or an internal ice chamber to avoid diluting the whole batch. Provide citrus wedges for garnish. Label the dispenser with ABV guidance and recommended serving size.
Sweet tea vodka batch
For a ready sweet tea punch, combine 2 bottles Deep Eddy Sweet Tea with 1 bottle Chopin (to add a clean neutral backbone) in a 3-liter container. Add 1.5–2 liters of chilled brewed black iced tea (lightly sweetened if desired) and 500 ml fresh lemon juice. Chill thoroughly and serve over ice with lemon wedges.
Storage & handling
After opening, keep bottles corked/capped and stored upright in a cool, dark place (refrigerator optional for flavored vodkas). Most vodkas maintain quality for many months; consume opened bottles within 12–24 months for best flavor.
For flavored vodkas, refrigerate after opening if you prefer them served very cold; this also helps maintain bright flavor for longer.
