Method
Cocktail
Mix base
In a cocktail shaker, add Stateside (or vodka), Strega, fresh lemon juice, and rose syrup.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full) and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.
Strain
Double-strain the mixture into a chilled wine glass or large coupe filled with fresh ice (if you prefer over ice) or without ice for a cleaner spritz presentation.
Top with prosecco
Slowly top the cocktail with chilled prosecco (about 3 oz) to preserve effervescence. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to integrate—one or two slow spins.
Garnish & Serve
Float a single edible rose petal on top, or place a dried rosebud or small sprig of thyme alongside the petal for aroma and visual appeal.
Serve immediately while the prosecco is lively. Suggestion: provide a small napkin to catch any rose syrup on the lip.
