Method
Prepare Fruit Juices
Passionfruit
Cut fresh passionfruit in half and scoop pulp (seeds and juice) into a bowl. If you prefer a seedless texture, press pulp through a fine-mesh sieve into a container, using the back of a spoon to extract the juice and discard the seeds.
Orange
Roll the oranges on the counter to loosen juice, cut in half and juice until you have 1 cup. Strain if you prefer no pulp.
Guava
If using whole guavas, wash, quarter, and puree in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh if you want a smoother nectar. Measure 1 cup of guava nectar/puree.
Mixing the P.O.G.
In a pitcher, combine 1 cup passionfruit (pulp or strained juice), 1 cup orange juice, and 1 cup guava nectar. Stir gently to combine.
Add 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or honey syrup) and 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice. Taste and adjust sweetness — add up to 1 tablespoon more syrup if you prefer sweeter, or a little more lime for brightness.
Chill and Serve
Fill glasses with ice (about 1/2 to 1 cup per glass). Pour the P.O.G. mixture into each glass, filling about 3/4 full.
If you want a fizzy version, top each glass with sparkling water or club soda (about 1/4 to 1/3 cup per glass) and stir gently to combine. For still version, omit sparkling water.
Garnish each glass with an orange wheel or a half passionfruit (float the half for a dramatic presentation) and a sprig of mint if desired. Serve immediately.
