Instructions

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Scrub the potatoes under cold water and pat dry. Pierce each potato several times with a fork. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

2

Bake the Potatoes

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork slides easily through the flesh.

3

Prepare the Toppings

While the potatoes are baking, prepare your toppings: crumble the bacon, chop the green onions, and get the sour cream and cheddar cheese ready.

4

Assemble the Loaded Potatoes

Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Cut each potato lengthwise and gently squeeze the ends to open them. Fluff the insides with a fork, add a dollop of sour cream, a generous sprinkle of cheddar cheese, and top with crumbled bacon and green onions. Season with black pepper to taste.

5

Serve

Serve the loaded baked potatoes hot and enjoy!
