Glassware & Serving (optional)
Chill & Prepare
1. Chill the Whispering Angel Rosé to the ideal serving temperature. Place the bottle in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours to reach 8–10°C (46–50°F). If you need to chill quickly, place the bottle in an ice bucket filled with equal parts ice and cold water for 20–30 minutes.
2. If using a wine bucket or pitcher for serving, fill it with ice and a little cold water so the bottle sits evenly chilled and ready to present at the table.
Preparing Glasses & Garnish
3. Select appropriate glassware. Whispering Angel is best enjoyed in a large-bowled white or rosé glass to concentrate the aromatic profile. If serving multiple guests, bring out 4 clean glasses.
Opening & Pouring
5. Carefully remove the capsule and any foil from the top of the bottle. Wipe the bottle lip with a clean cloth to remove any residue.
6. Use a corkscrew to gently remove the cork. Hold the bottle at the base and slowly extract the cork to avoid agitating the wine.
7. Pour a small taste into one glass and smell. Whispering Angel is known for fresh red berry, stone fruit and floral notes; take a moment to appreciate the aroma and confirm the wine is clean and bright.
8. Pour the wine into glasses, filling each about one-third full (roughly 4–5 ounces / 120–150 ml) to allow room for aromas. If serving outdoors in warm weather and you prefer the wine slightly colder, add a single large ice cube or a splash of chilled water to each glass (no more than 1–2 tablespoons) — do not over-chill or water down the wine.
Service & Storage
10. Serve immediately after pouring. Encourage guests to sip slowly and note the wine’s balance of crisp acidity, saline minerality and delicate fruit.
11. If you don’t finish the bottle, re-cork it (push the cork in partway or use the original cork) and store the bottle upright in the refrigerator for up to 3–5 days. For best flavor after opening, consume within 2–3 days.
12. Clean glasses and utensils after service.
