Banoffee Trifle Ingredients

Method

Banoffee Trifle Directions

1

Prepare the Caramel Ganache

In a saucepan, combine dark chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Set aside to cool.

2

Make the Sesame Toffee

In a saucepan, melt butter and granulated sugar over medium heat until it turns a golden brown color. Stir in sesame seeds and pour onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool. Once cooled, break into pieces.

3

Prepare the Banana Pudding

In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Slice the bananas into rounds.

4

Layer the Trifle

In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer the crushed graham crackers, banana slices, caramel ganache, and whipped cream. Repeat layers until the dish is filled.

5

Top with Sesame Toffee

Finish with a layer of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with sesame toffee pieces. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
