Meatball Preparation
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground venison, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped scallions, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
Glaze Preparation
Combine Glaze Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, grape jelly, and tomato sauce. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Glaze Meatballs
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and drizzle the glaze over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving
Plate and Garnish
Remove from the oven, plate the meatballs, and garnish with additional chopped scallions if desired. Serve warm.
