Preparation of Chile Lime Butter

Make the Chile Lime Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are blended together. Set aside.

Grilling the Halibut

Prepare the Halibut

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

Grill the Halibut

Place the halibut fillets on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve

Remove the halibut from the grill and top each fillet with a generous dollop of the prepared Chile Lime Butter. Garnish with sliced avocado and chopped cilantro before serving.
