Preparation Steps

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, pineapple juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar until well combined. Place the Angus top sirloin in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the steak. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stovetop.

3

Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place it on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your desired doneness. Discard any remaining marinade.

4

Rest and Slice

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice against the grain into thin strips.

5

Serve

Serve the sliced steak garnished with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
