Burger Preparation

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

2

Form the Patties

In a bowl, shape the ground steak into two equal patties, about ½ inch thick. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3

Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

4

Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged cheddar on each patty to melt.

5

Prepare the Buns

Toast the brioche buns lightly in the skillet or toaster until golden brown.

6

Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, cooked patties with melted cheese, bacon, onion slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

7

Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your choice of sides.
