Preparation and Baking
Make the Pie Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cold water, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Form into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the cheese and seasonal vegetables.
Assemble the Quiche
Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Spread evenly.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Cool and Serve
Allow the quiche to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with a side salad or fruit.
