Cut the baguette into 1-inch cubes and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.

Combine and Soak

Pour the egg mixture over the cubed baguette, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

Prepare the Topping

In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix with maple syrup. Pour this mixture over the soaked baguette before baking.
