Method

Event Basics & Bar Setup

  1. 1

    Prepare bar station

Set up a clean work surface with shaker, jigger, strainer, muddler, bar spoon and glassware. Arrange ice in an insulated bucket and place bottles (Grey Goose, vermouth, elderflower liqueur, Champagne) within easy reach.

  2. 2

    Buffet and souvenirs

Arrange the small buffet (finger foods, cheeses, crackers) on a separate table. Place one souvenir glass at each attendee station and provide cocktail napkins and utensils.

Cocktail 1 — Classic Grey Goose Martini (makes 4 cocktails)

  1. 3

    Chill glassware

Place 4 cocktail glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while you mix to chill.

  2. 4

    Mix martini

Add 12 oz Grey Goose vodka and 1.5 oz dry vermouth into a large mixing glass or shaker filled with 2 cups of ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted. (If making individual servings, use 3 oz vodka and 0.375 oz vermouth per serving.)

  3. 5

    Strain & garnish

Discard ice from chilled glasses. Using a Hawthorne strainer, strain the martini into the chilled glasses. Garnish each with a lemon twist or 2 olives on a pick. Serve immediately.

Cocktail 2 — Grey Goose Le Fizz (makes 4 cocktails)

  1. 6

    Build & shake

In a shaker, combine 8 oz Grey Goose vodka, 2 oz elderflower liqueur, 4 oz fresh lime juice and 2 oz simple syrup. Add 2 cups of ice and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.

  2. 7

    Strain & top

Double-strain the mixture into 4 chilled highball or Collins glasses filled halfway with fresh ice (about 3/4 cup ice per glass). Top each with 3 oz chilled club soda (total 12 oz across 4 drinks).

  3. 8

    Garnish & serve

Garnish each glass with a lime wheel and a mint sprig if desired. Serve with a straw or stirrer.

Cocktail 3 — Grey Goose French 75 Twist (makes 4 cocktails)

  1. 9

    Shake base

In a shaker, combine 8 oz Grey Goose vodka, 3 oz fresh lemon juice and 2 oz simple syrup with 2 cups of ice. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until chilled.

  2. 10

    Strain & top with bubbles

Strain the shaken mixture evenly into 4 chilled flute or coupe glasses (about 3 oz base per glass). Top each with 3 oz chilled Champagne or sparkling wine (total 12 oz).

  3. 11

    Garnish

Express a lemon twist over each glass (pinch peel to release oils) and drop the twist in as garnish. Serve immediately.

Garnishes & Clean-up

  1. 12

    Garnish prep

While guests are rotating through hands-on stations, pre-cut lemon twists, lime wheels and prepare mint sprigs so each attendee can finish their own cocktail. Place sugar and salt rims in small shallow dishes for optional rimming.

  2. 13

    Safety & pacing

Encourage attendees to pace themselves — provide water and buffet snacks between cocktails. Monitor alcohol consumption and stop service if anyone appears intoxicated. Offer take-home recipe cards and hold the raffle/prizes at the end.

  3. 14

    Clean up

Clear empty bottles, wipe down bar surfaces and collect glassware. Store leftover Grey Goose upright in a cool place. Dispose of used ice and wash tools and glassware promptly.
