Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine whiskey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Marinate the Salmon
Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Vegetables
While the salmon is marinating, chop seasonal vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Cook the Salmon
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove salmon from the marinade (reserve marinade for later) and place in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through.
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add seasonal vegetables and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender-crisp.
Add Sauce
Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with the vegetables and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Serve
Plate the salmon fillets alongside the sautéed vegetables and drizzle with any remaining sauce from the skillet.
