Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the cauliflower

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.

2

Make the batter

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water to create a smooth batter.

3

Coat the cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

4

Heat the oil

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

5

Fry the cauliflower

Carefully add the coated cauliflower florets to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

6

Prepare the sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

7

Toss and serve

In a large bowl, toss the fried cauliflower with the sauce until well coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
