Experience the refreshing taste of Carbon Bar Lager, a perfectly balanced brew with a crisp, clean finish. This golden lager boasts subtle floral notes and a hint of malt sweetness, making it the ideal companion for any occasion. Enjoy its smooth texture and light carbonation as you sip your way through moments of relaxation and celebration.

In a large brew kettle, heat 3 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the pale malt and crystal malt, stirring to combine. Maintain the temperature at around 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge the grains with 2 gallons of water heated to 170°F (77°C). Collect the wort in the kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Cascade hops and boil for 60 minutes. 15 minutes before the end of the boil, add the Saaz hops.

Boiling

After the boil, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the lager yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Ferment at around 50°F (10°C) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of boiling water. Add to the beer and bottle in sanitized bottles. Cap the bottles.

Bottling

Allow the bottles to condition at room temperature for 2 weeks before refrigerating.
