If the bottle is at room temperature, chill it in the refrigerator for 2 hours or in an ice bucket with a 1:1 mixture of ice and water for 20–30 minutes. Avoid freezing; rosé is best served at 8–10°C (46–50°F).

Chill (if needed)

Remove the foil and wire or capsule. Wipe the top of the bottle with a clean cloth. Using a waiter-style corkscrew, center the spiral in the cork and screw down until one spiral turn remains, then gently pull to extract the cork. If screw cap, twist to open.

Open bottle

Rosé typically doesn’t require decanting. If bottling has been recently disturbed, let it sit upright 10–15 minutes after opening to settle any sediment.

Decant or let rest (optional)

Hold the bottle at the base and pour slowly into chilled wine glasses, filling each glass one-third full (about 4–5 ounces / 120–150 ml) to allow the aromas to develop.

Pour

Prepare fruit: thinly slice a strawberry and a white peach (if available) and cut a thin lemon or grapefruit twist.

Garnish glass: rest the strawberry slice on the rim or float it in the glass. Add the peach slice or a small wedge if desired. For a citrus accent, twist the lemon or grapefruit peel over the glass to release oils, then rest it on the rim.

Presentation: Place the bottle in a small wine bucket or on a chilled surface. Serve with appropriate glassware. Offer tasting notes to guests: highlight aromas of wild strawberry, white peach and citrus, and recommend pairing with light salads, seafood, or Mediterranean small plates.
