Biscuits
Prepare the Biscuit Dough
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Milk and Form Biscuits
Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the milk. Stir gently until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle and cut out two large biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass.
Bake the Biscuits
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
