Miso-Glazed Salmon

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Prepare Miso Glaze

In a bowl, mix the white miso paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.

2

Glaze Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the miso glaze generously over the salmon fillets.

3

Bake Salmon

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and caramelized on top.

4

Cook Soba Noodles

While the salmon is baking, cook the soba noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

5

Cook Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, chop into pieces, and leave some fat in the pan.

6

Sauté Napa Cabbage

In the same skillet, add the napa cabbage and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

7

Prepare Lomi-lomi

In a bowl, combine diced tomato, chopped red onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Season with salt to taste.

8

Assemble Dish

Place the soba noodles on a plate, top with sautéed napa cabbage, the miso-glazed salmon, crispy bacon, and lomi-lomi on the side.
