Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Patties

1

Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.

2

Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick.

3

Chill Patties

Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

4

Heat Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

5

Cook Patties

Add the patties to the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they reach your desired level of doneness.

6

Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Assembling the Burgers

7

Prepare Buns

Slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in the toaster.

8

Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and your desired amount of ketchup and mustard.

9

Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun, press down gently, and serve immediately.
