Cocktail

Method

Prepare

1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or rocks glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Measure

Measure out Crown Royal, RumHaven, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and fresh lime juice. If you prefer a slightly sweeter cocktail, have the simple syrup ready.

Mixing

3

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.

4

Add 1.5 oz Crown Royal, 0.75 oz RumHaven, 2 oz cranberry juice, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice into the shaker. Add 0.25 oz simple syrup if you like it sweeter and 1 dash Angostura bitters if desired for complexity.

5

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is very cold and well-chilled.

Serve

6

Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. If serving over ice, fill a rocks glass with fresh ice; for a slightly more elegant presentation, use a chilled coupe and serve without ice.

7

Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh or Hawthorne strainer into the prepared glass.

8

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim, a small pineapple wedge or leaf, and optionally skewer 2–3 fresh cranberries and float them on top.

9

Serve immediately. Sip and enjoy the balance of Crown Royal’s smoothness, RumHaven’s coconut notes, bright cranberry, and tropical pineapple.
