Cocktail Preparation
Muddle the Mint
In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup. Muddle gently to release the mint's aroma and flavor.
Add the Liquids
Pour in the Bulleit Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and ice cubes. Shake well until chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with Club Soda
Top off the drink with club soda and stir gently to combine.
Garnish
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice if desired.
