Method

Panna Cotta Preparation

1

Melt the Chocolate

In a saucepan over low heat, melt the milk chocolate until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

2

Prepare the Gelatin

In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.

3

Combine Ingredients

In another saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves but do not let it boil. Remove from heat, and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.

4

Mix in Chocolate

Add the melted milk chocolate and vanilla extract to the cream mixture, stirring until well combined.

5

Chill

Pour the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Brownie Preparation

6

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.

7

Melt the Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

8

Mix Sugar and Eggs

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined.

9

Combine All Ingredients

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar and egg mixture, stirring until combined. Then fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.

10

Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

11

Cool and Cut

Let the brownies cool completely in the dish before cutting into squares.
