Cocktail
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey, 1 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, 1 oz cold brew coffee, 0.25 oz simple syrup, and 6 ice cubes.
Dry shake (optional)
If you prefer a slightly frothier texture, first shake without ice for 8β10 seconds to integrate the liqueur and cold brew, then proceed to the next step. This is optional.
Shake with ice
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 12β15 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes very cold and slightly frosted. This chills and dilutes the cocktail to the right balance.
Fine strain
Empty the ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove any small ice shards and ensure a clean, silky texture.
Garnish & Serve
Serve immediately while cold. Recommend serving with a small napkin or coaster; no straw is necessary.
