- 1
Chill glass and ingredients (optional)
If you prefer extra cold, place a wine or large stemmed glass in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes before preparing.
- 2
Add 4 ice cubes to the chilled glass. The ice will keep the Prosecco colder longer and slightly slow dilution.
- 3
Pour 1.5 oz Aperol over the ice. This is the bitter-sweet base of the Frizzante.
- 4
Slowly pour 4 oz chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pour gently down the side or over the back of a spoon to preserve carbonation.
- 5
Add 0.5 oz chilled soda water to lighten and lengthen the drink. Stir very gently once with a bar spoon (1–2 slow rotations) to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to keep the bubbles.
- 6
Garnish with one fresh orange slice on the rim or floated in the glass. Optionally express a small piece of orange peel over the drink to release oils, then drop it in.
- 7
Serve immediately while the drink is fizzy.
