Preparing the Pork Belly

Seasoning the Pork Belly
Rub the pork belly with salt, black pepper, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure the entire surface is evenly coated.
- 2
Slow Cooking
Place the seasoned pork belly in a slow cooker. Add apple cider vinegar and water. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.

Resting the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- 4
Slicing the Pork
Slice the pork belly into thin, manageable pieces for the sliders.
Assembling the Sliders
- 5
Preparing the Buns
Lightly toast the brioche buns on a skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 6
Building the Sliders
Place a slice of the slow-cooked pork belly on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun. If desired, top with coleslaw and pickles.
- 7
Serving
Place the top half of the bun over the pork belly and serve immediately while warm.
