Method

Preparation of Eggs

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool the Eggs

After 12 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let them cool for at least 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.

  3. 3

    Peel the Eggs

Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell and peel the eggs under running cold water for easier removal.

Making the Filling

  1. 4

    Prepare the Egg Yolks

Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a mixing bowl and set the egg whites aside.

  2. 5

    Mix the Filling

To the bowl with egg yolks, add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mash the mixture with a fork until smooth and fully combined.

Assembling the Deviled Eggs

  1. 6

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the hollowed egg whites with the yolk mixture generously.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs for color. Top with chopped chives and a tiny drizzle of Sriracha sauce for a spicy kick.
