Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Cornbread

Preheat your oven according to the cornbread mix instructions. Prepare the cornbread batter according to package instructions and pour into a greased baking dish. Bake until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.

2

Make Habanero Honey Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add chopped habanero and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in honey, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

3

Sear the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Sear the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

4

Toss Shrimp in Sauce

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove them from the skillet and toss them in the habanero honey butter glaze until well coated.

5

Serve

Slice the cornbread and serve it warm, topped with the glazed shrimp. Garnish with chopped green onions.
