Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Place the striploin steak in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.

2

Prepare for Cooking

Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Let the steak come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat the steak dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.

3

Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the striploin steak and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. If using a meat thermometer, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

4

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

5

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and sprinkle with fresh rosemary before serving. Enjoy your bourbon-infused striploin!
