Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, egg, chopped parsley, minced garlic, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Prepare the Spicy Crushed Tomato Sauce
In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, a pinch of red chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Serve
Serve the meatballs hot, topped with the spicy crushed tomato sauce and a dollop of ricotta cheese. Accompany with garlic bread.
