Preparation

Measure ingredients
Measure vodka, dry vermouth, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using). Add a dash of orange blossom water if desired.
Shake & Mix
- 3
Dry shake (if using egg white)
If using the egg white for texture, combine vodka, dry vermouth, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white, and orange blossom water in a cocktail shaker. Seal and shake vigorously without ice for 10–15 seconds to emulsify and build a silky foam.
- 4
Wet shake
Open the shaker, add large ice cubes (about 5–6), reseal, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the shaker is very cold and the exterior is frosted. This chills and dilutes the mixture to the proper balance.
- 5
Strain
Discard ice or water from the chilled martini glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to ensure a smooth texture and to catch any remaining ice shards or egg white solids.
Finish & Garnish
- 6
- 7
Place a single edible white flower petal or a small sprig of lavender on the foam or at the edge of the glass for a delicate, linen-and-lace presentation. Serve immediately.
