Crabcake Sliders

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crab Cakes

In a large bowl, combine lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

  2. 2

    Form and Cook

Form the mixture into small patties about the size of the slider buns. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the crab cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cajun Remoulade

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise with cajun seasoning and hot sauce to taste. Adjust seasoning as desired.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sliders

On each slider bun, place a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a crab cake. Drizzle with the cajun remoulade, and top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
