Gather all the ingredients: tequila, triple sec, raspberry purée, sour mix, light beer, fresh raspberries, and lime wedge.

Prepare Ingredients

If making your own raspberry purée, blend fresh or frozen raspberries in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if desired to remove seeds.

Make Raspberry Purée (if not store-bought)

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila and 1 oz of triple sec.

Combine Liquors

Add 1 oz of raspberry purée and 1 oz of sour mix to the shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Shake

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

Strain and Pour

Top the drink with a splash of light beer (about 2 oz) and stir gently to combine.
