Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they're browned and cooked through.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- 6

Let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
Combining and Topping

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the simmering red sauce. Let them simmer together for an additional 5-10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 8
Add Cheese Topping
Preheat your broiler. Transfer the meatballs and sauce to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the provolone cheese and grated Parmigiano Reggiano on top. Broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
