Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Build and shake

Add 1 oz Everleaf Forest (or orange-herbal liqueur), 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 oz passion fruit purée (or strained pulp), 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup (if using) into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy from the passion fruit.

  2. 2

    Strain

Double-strain the shaken mixture into a highball or Collins glass filled with fresh ice to remove pulp and ice shards. If you prefer more texture, single strain to retain more passion fruit seeds.

  3. 3

    Top

Top gently with 3 oz chilled ginger ale. Give a single gentle stir (1–2 turns) to integrate the ginger ale without losing carbonation.

Garnish & Finish

  1. 4

Float or place an orange wheel on the rim of the glass. Spoon or float the seeds from half a passion fruit over the top so they sit on the surface and add visual interest. Add a thin slice of fresh ginger and/or a mint sprig tucked behind the orange wheel if desired. Serve with a short straw.
