Method

Serving from a can

1

Chill the can (if needed)

Ensure the canned soda is cold. If not chilled, place the can in a refrigerator for at least 2 hours or in an ice bath for 10–15 minutes until chilled to your preference.

2

Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer your soda in a glass, fill a highball or tumbler with 4–6 ice cubes. If you prefer no ice, skip this step.

3

Open the can

Hold the can upright on a stable surface. Place your thumb on the tab, lift it to puncture the opening, and pull back until the opening is fully exposed. Wipe the rim with a napkin if desired.

4

Pour or drink straight from the can

Option A — Pour: Tilt the glass and pour the soda gently down the side to reduce foam and fizz. Pour until the glass is about 90% full to avoid overflow. Option B — Drink from can: Bring the can to your mouth and tilt to sip directly.

5

Add optional garnishes

If desired, squeeze a lemon or lime wedge into the soda and drop the wedge into the glass. Add a maraschino cherry on top for a classic garnish. Insert a short straw if drinking from a glass.

6

Serve immediately

Serve right away to enjoy optimal carbonation and temperature. Close the remaining soda back in its can is not recommended — consume within a few hours after opening if resealed and refrigerated.
