Juice Base (choose one)

Method

Orange Juice

1

Prepare fruit

Wash oranges under cold water. Roll each orange on the counter with light pressure to loosen juices. Cut each orange in half crosswise.

2

Juice

Use a citrus juicer or manual press to extract juice from the orange halves until you have about 10–12 fl oz (a medium serving). If you prefer pulp-free juice, strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.

3

Adjust & finish

Taste the juice. If it is too tart, stir in up to 1 tsp of sugar or honey, and a pinch of salt if desired. Add a squeeze of lime/lemon if you want brightness. Add 1–2 tablespoons cold water if the juice is too concentrated. Pour over ice if using and serve immediately.

Carrot Juice

4

Prepare carrots

Wash and scrub carrots well to remove dirt. Trim off the tops and ends. If carrots are large, cut into chunks that will fit your juicer or blender chute (about 1–2 inch pieces).

5

Juice with juicer (preferred)

Feed carrot pieces through an electric juicer according to manufacturer instructions until you have about 10–12 fl oz of juice. If using a low-yield juicer, you may need 5–6 medium carrots.

6

Juice with blender (alternative)

Place carrot chunks in a high-speed blender with 2–3 tablespoons cold water. Blend on high until very smooth. Strain the purée through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible.

7

Adjust & finish

Taste the carrot juice. For sweetness, stir in up to 1 tsp honey or sugar. Add a pinch of salt and/or a squeeze of lemon to brighten. Serve over ice if desired and consume immediately.

Celery Juice

8

Prepare celery

Wash celery stalks thoroughly, removing any damaged outer strings or leaves. Trim the base and the top ends. Chop into segments that fit your juicer or blender.

9

Juice with juicer (preferred)

Run celery pieces through an electric juicer until you have about 10–12 fl oz of juice. Celery yields less liquid than citrus, so 6–8 stalks is typical for a medium serving.

10

Juice with blender (alternative)

Place chopped celery in a high-speed blender with 2–3 tablespoons cold water. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag, pressing to extract the liquid.

11

Adjust & finish

Taste the celery juice. If it's too vegetal, add a squeeze of lemon or a small pinch of salt. Optionally dilute with 1–2 tablespoons cold water or add a small amount of apple or carrot juice for sweetness. Serve over ice and drink fresh.

Serving & Storage

12

Pour the freshly prepared juice into a medium serving glass (about 12–16 oz). Garnish with a wedge of lemon or lime if desired.

13

Consume immediately for best flavor and nutrient retention. If you must store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24–48 hours; shake or stir before serving and note that flavor and color will degrade with time.
