1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes or fill it with ice water while you build the cocktail to chill.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Prairie Vodka, 0.75 oz strawberry-rhubarb cordial, 0.5 oz Combier Peach Liqueur, and 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice. If your cordial is very tart, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted. This both dilutes and properly chills the drink.

4

Prepare glass

Remove the coupe or martini glass from the freezer or discard ice water and dry the glass.

5

Double strain and serve

Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and any pulp. This yields a silky, clear presentation.

6

Garnish

Express a lemon twist over the drink to release oils, run the twist around the rim, and drop it into the glass. Alternatively, garnish with a small sliced strawberry on the rim for a spring look.

7

Serve immediately. The Spring Cosmo is best enjoyed cold and freshly made.
