Steak Tips

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Steak Tips Preparation

1

Marinate the Steak

Cut the beef sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine olive oil, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Add the steak pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Cook the Steak Tips

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak tips and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

Mashed Potatoes Preparation

3

Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Boil for about 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender.

4

Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, and salt. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Broccoli Preparation

5

Prepare the Broccoli

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt to taste.

Optional Add-ons Preparation

6

Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, melt 2 tbs of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.

7

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
