Method
Build & Shake
Prepare shaker
Add the ice (about 1 cup) to a cocktail shaker to chill the shaker and slightly dilute the spirit mix while shaking.
Pour the tequila, vodka, light rum, gin and triple sec into the shaker.
Add the fresh lime juice and simple syrup to the shaker with the spirits.
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.
Finish & Serve
Fill a tall Collins or highball glass with fresh ice.
Strain the shaken spirit mixture into the prepared glass, leaving room at the top for cola (about 3 oz).
Top gently with 3 oz chilled cola. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to preserve carbonation.
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel on the rim. Optionally squeeze the lime wedge over the drink before dropping it in for extra brightness.
Serve with a straw and a napkin. Recommend drinking responsibly — this is a high-ABV long drink.
