Cocktail

1 oz Goldschlager (cinnamon schnapps)1 oz Jägermeister (herbal liqueur)1/2 oz 140-proof grain alcohol or high-proof vodka1/4 oz Fresh lime juice1/4 oz Simple syrup (1:1)6 pieces Ice (for shaking)

Garnish & Finish

1 piece Lime wheel or twist1/4 tsp Coarse sea salt (optional for rimming)

Rim (optional)

If you wish a salted rim, rub the glass edge with a lime wedge and dip rim into a small plate of coarse sea salt. Set glass aside.

Combine ingredients

Add Goldschlager, Jägermeister, high-proof grain alcohol (or high-proof vodka), fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 6 pieces). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted on the outside.

Strain

Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or small cocktail glass (4–6 oz). Use a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer if available to remove small ice chips.

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or twist on the glass rim. Serve immediately. Note: This is a very high-proof cocktail — consume responsibly and be aware of effects.
