Casamigos Reposado Margarita
Optional: Large Format / Rocks Variation
Method
Casamigos Reposado Margarita
Prepare the glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass. Pour coarse salt or Tajín onto a small plate, then dip the rim into the salt to create an even salted rim. Set the glass aside.
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Casamigos Reposado tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec), and 0.5 oz agave syrup.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well-chilled.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally add an orange twist for aroma by expressing its oils over the drink and dropping it in.
Taste and adjust: if the cocktail is too tart, add 0.25 oz more agave; if it’s too sweet, add a splash more lime. Serve immediately.
Optional: Large Format / Rocks Variation
For a slightly stronger rocks-style drink, combine 3 oz Casamigos Reposado, 1.5 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz Cointreau, and 0.75 oz agave syrup in a mixing glass with ice.
Stir gently for 20–30 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted. Strain over a rocks glass filled with a large ice cube or fresh ice.
Rim is optional: serve with or without a salted or Tajín rim. Garnish with a lime wedge or orange twist and serve.
