Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Cabbage

Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Cut the cabbage in half and brush the cut sides with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt.

2

Roast the Cabbage

Place the cabbage halves cut-side down on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until charred and tender.

3

Cook the Apples

In a skillet over medium heat, add the sliced apples and cook until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Make the Glaze

In a small bowl, combine the Szechuan peppercorns, soy sauce, lime juice, and a dash of water. Mix well to create the glaze.

5

Combine and Serve

Once the cabbage is done roasting, remove it from the oven and place it on a serving platter. Top with the caramelized apples, drizzle with the Szechuan lime soy glaze, and garnish with sliced scallions, togarashi spice blend, and chopped peanuts.
