Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Choose a highball or Collins glass (12–14 oz). Fill the glass about two-thirds with ice. If you prefer a chilled glass, place it in the freezer for 10 minutes beforehand and then add ice.

2

Build the drink

In a cocktail shaker add 2 oz Stoli Ohranj, 0.5 oz triple sec, 3 oz freshly squeezed orange juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup (omit syrup if your oranges are very sweet). Add a small handful of ice (about 4–6 medium cubes), cap the shaker, and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds to chill and slightly dilute.

3

Strain and top

Double-strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice to remove any pulp and small ice chips. Top with 1.5 oz Starry (lemon-lime soda) poured gently down the side to preserve effervescence. Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 turns) with a bar spoon to integrate the soda without flattening it.

Garnish & Serve

4

Thread an orange wheel onto the rim or float it on top of the drink. Add a mint sprig tucked alongside the orange wheel if using. Serve with a reusable straw and a small cocktail napkin.

5

Enjoy immediately while the drink is bright and fizzy.
