Method

Prepare Fruit

1

Macerate strawberries

Hull and quarter 3 fresh strawberries. Place them in a small bowl or the bottom of a shaker and add 0.5 oz simple syrup. Lightly muddle (2–4 firm presses) until strawberries break down and release juices but still have some texture.

Mix Cocktail

2

Add the muddled strawberries and any accumulated juices to a cocktail shaker.

3

Add 2 oz Absolut vodka, 1 oz Amaretto, 0.5 oz Triple Sec, 2 oz pomegranate juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 1.5 oz half-and-half (or light cream) to the shaker.

4

Fill the shaker with ice (about 6–8 medium cubes) and secure the lid.

5

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and the mixture is well emulsified (the cream will slightly thicken the cocktail).

Strain & Serve

6

Fill a chilled cocktail glass or coupe with fresh ice (or leave it neat in a coupe if preferred).

7

Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass using both the shaker strainer and a fine-mesh strainer to remove strawberry pulp and seeds for a smooth texture.

8

Garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim, a lime wheel, and a teaspoon of pomegranate seeds floated on top if using.

9

Serve immediately. Give the drink a gentle stir before drinking if separation occurs.
