Ribeye Steak Ingredients
Method
Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Steak
Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Season the Steak
Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Generously season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear the Steak
Add the ribeye steaks to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, depending on the thickness.
Add Aromatics
During the last minute of cooking, add the garlic cloves, rosemary, and butter to the pan. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they finish cooking.
Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Serve
Slice the ribeye steak against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
