Classic Coca-Cola (single serving)
Coke Float (single serving)
Citrus Coke Spritz (single serving, light non-alcoholic spritz)
Method
Classic Coca-Cola (single serving)
Chill and prepare glass
Ensure the Coca-Cola is chilled. Select a clean highball or long glass and fill it with 6 ice cubes.
Open a 12 fl oz can or bottle of Coca-Cola. Pour gently over the ice to preserve carbonation, filling the glass to about 1/2 inch below the rim.
If desired, garnish with a lemon wedge on the rim and/or drop in a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring spoon.
Coke Float (single serving)
Select a chilled tall glass or sundae glass. Place 2 generous scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass.
Slowly pour 10 fl oz of chilled Coca-Cola over the ice cream. Pouring slowly or over the back of a spoon reduces foaming and overflow.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired and finish with a maraschino cherry. Serve with a long spoon and straw.
Citrus Coke Spritz (single serving, light non-alcoholic spritz)
Fill a Collins or highball glass with 6 ice cubes.
Add 1/2 tablespoon fresh lime juice and stir gently once to combine without flattening the drink. Garnish with a lime wheel and serve immediately.
